The 5th floor is on Fire

Yes, you read that right. This morning, 3:15 to be exact, my crazy upstairs neighbor set her apartment on fire. After over an hour of screaming, loud TV and throwing glass and paint cans out of the window for over 30 minutes just after 3 she officially lost it. The cops had to break down her door because she wouldn't answer. Little did we know at the time she was starting a fire.

Everyone in the building got out safe and sound, but we were all a little shaken up. We were not able to go back to our apartment until almost 5 a.m. I'll have to say it is pretty intense to have the FDNY and the NYPD in your apartment baging down your door screaming at you to "get out. FIRE!"

Hats off to NYPD, FDNY and our Super for making it all go as smooth as possible!

March Madness

March Madness, that is how I always feel about this month. Not just basketball March Madness, but the month seems to fly by. I know a lot of people think March is the longest month of the year, but not me. There is always so much going on. People in town, St. Patrick's day, spring and lots and lots of basketball....college and pro. I can't believe that we are in the last full week of the month. I also REALLY can't believe I will be 30 a week from today. Crazy! Here are some pics from the last couple of weeks.
My aunt and uncle, Denise and Bob, were in town for a day. We had a great time catching up, shopping, eating in Little Italy and watching the selection show!I've spent a lot of time at Madison Square Garden this month. Knicks, Rangers and the Big East Tourney. "St. Patrick's Day" in Hoboken with Jim and Emily. They celebrate on the first Saturday of March. It kind of reminded me of St. Patty's in Chico!

Dad and Rebelution in NYC

My dad was in town last week, and we hit the town every night. We went to a Knicks Game, a Broadway show and the Rebelution concert. It's always so much fun to have people visit. It was a bonus that my brother's band was in town too! They put on a great show, as always, at The Blender Theatre here in NYC. If you have not seen them yet you should!!! They are touring nationally!!
