A New Adventure

Look out NYC, the Big Apple, Shawn and Hilllary are coming to take a bite. We're not talking about going for a long weekend.....WE ARE MOVING TO NYC!!! Shawn was offered, and took, a VP position with the New York Knicks. He starts Sept. 15th. Yes, I know this is crazy and has come on like a ton of bricks, but we are so excited to start another chapter in our already long book!

More details to come soon!

Isn't it funny how the world works. For those of you who don't know, my sister has been living in New York for a little over two years. She will be moving back home to San Francisco 5 days before Shawn starts his new job. It's time for her to start a new adventure too, but how fun would it have been to live in NYC together. The good news is, I've been there many, many times in the past two years, and I feel pretty comfortable with the NYC layout and subway. That's half the battle!!

Indiana & Team USA

We spent last weekend in Indiana with Shawn's mom, sister and grandpa. It was a pretty relaxing weekend that involved the beginning of my 2008 Olympic obsession! Go USA!I seriously have had sooooo much fun watching the Olympics this week. NBC is doing a great job with the coverage, and I can't get enough of the great HD coverage! I could go on a big long love rant about my favorite events. I do want to give a quick shout out to the Bay Area Volleyball girls (Kerri Walsh & Nicole Branagh), they've been so much fun to watch. OK, I'll give a shout out to Phelps too!

Saturday night, we headed down to AutoZone park to see Dave Matthews. It was over 100 with major humidity, but once DMB started playing, I barley noticed the heat! Like always, Dave put on a killer 3 hour show. We had a great time singing along with Dave and the rest of the band. They are seriously talented. Tim Reynolds played with the band for a couple of songs, and Willie Nelson (who also opened for DMB) came out and sang "Grave Digger" with Dave. I don't have any pictures, because we couldn't bring in cameras!
