Lots of talking very loudly, laughing and smiling. He really loves to talk at restaurants, he likes to chat it up with the servers!

Crying when hungry or tired, but whiny when frustrated and not able to figure out new toys and challenges.

Doing great with kick arounds and tummy time. He can roll to his side, but he hasn't made it to his stomach yet. He is always putting his feet and hands in his mouth.

Hand eye coordination getting better every day.

Eats every 3 hours on the dot during the day, but has started to sleep for up to 8 hours at night. He is a cat napper, we're lucky if he sleeps 1 one hour stretch during the day.

We just love our little guy more every day. For all the challenges that being a new parent brings, I would not change where I am in life for anything.

4th of July

We had a great, hot 4th here in the city. I worked during the day, then we had my sister's roommates over for hotdogs, snacks and wine. When we were done we headed up to the West Side Highway to watch the Macy's fireworks. We had a great view and loved the fireworks. Nolan was awake the whole time, and we think he liked the fireworks! The 4th is a special day for us. It was one year to the day that we found out we were pregnant! The past year just flew by. It has been quite a ride.
