We had a great 10 days in CA. I am already missing the wonderful weather, especially the cool nights! It was so great to see many of my friends and their babies, spend time with my parents and have my brother finally meet his nephew. It's still so weird being a new mom. I was used to the girls with their kids, but it is still very strange for me to be one of them. Nolan was great on the flight there and back. I was worried being alone on the flight home, but it all went very well, and we had an open seat next to us, so Nolan was able to kick around and sleep there for a bit.
I spent most of my time in WC and Alamo. The baby and I got a THIRD round of strep and were out of commission for a few days. His pediatrician has all three of us on the same meds and will recheck all of us to make sure the carrier is gone once we are finished with the antibiotics.
Shawn and my dad went to a Giant's game and the US Open at Pebble Beach, pretty cool! We all had a great time at Ayla's birthday party, and I got to see a few extra friends that were also in town. Kristin was also in town with her girls, but sadly we didn't get any pictures of the kids or us.
My dad calls these his Walla Walla Overalls!

I miss you and Nolan so much already. It was so fun to hang out and we just love you so much. You are such a natural, wonderful Mom and special friend.
Hillary! Nolan is DARLING!!!! Congrats. I know I am a little slow with the congrats, but I haven't checked blogs obviously in months. Sorry to hear you've all been so sick. Sick babies and moms are NO fun. You look great and he is so cute!
